Research Description: Dr. Babey's laboratory investigates endocrine mechanisms that coordinate skeletal remodeling and metabolic adaptation, with an initial focus on maternal physiology and obesity-associated metabolic adaptation during lactation. I look forward to engaging with the SDRC community, participating in its scientific activities, and developing new collaborations across the Center.
